NAIPA is an association for administrative personnel working within intellectual property rights. The association was founded on 7 January 2008. NAIPA is unpolitical and our main purpose is to provide our members with better opportunities for developing their professional skills.
We are constantly working to further develop the range of courses and seminars tailored to our members. The background for the founding of the association was the desire to establish a network among personnel working in Norway with intellectual property rights, but who do not qualify for membership in the Association of Norwegian Patent Attorneys.
NAIPA's board today consists of a chairman, a deputy chairman, a treasurer, a secretary and one member of the board, as well as two deputy members. We also have a separate Nomination Committee consisting of two members.
NAIPA members are co-founders of EPIPA: Stichting European Platform of Intellectual Property Administrators.
